I like the word “weltanschauung.”  It’s a real word.  I think it originated from German.  It’s pronounced velt-ahn-shou-ung.

  1. Ironically, perhaps many (the few) are sitting back and scrolling through Merriam-Webster and reading:
    “German etymology- WELT (word) and ANSCHUUNG (view).” They also might just discover that this crazy cool word (noun) means: “a comprehensive conception or apprehension of the world especially from a specific standpoint.” Thanks for making this blog SO convenient Sam.
